About Us
There's a moment every rule-breaker knows: you look for something that should exist, and it doesn't.
That was Christian in 2017. He wanted to wear skirts, not because fashion told him to, but because he felt more like himself in one. The problem was that nothing on the racks fit that vision. So he did what most people never do: instead of giving up, he asked his mother for help. Together, needle and fabric in hand, they made the first one themselves.
That single garment became By CasasBuenas.
We're not here to follow the rules of what men "should" wear. We're here for the people who'd rather build something that doesn't exist yet than settle for what does. Every kilt and streetwear skirt we make is cut from upcycled, recycled fabric, because for us, redefining fashion also means refusing to waste it.
If you've ever felt like the rack didn't have anything for you, you're exactly who we made this for.
Shop the collection and wear something that was made to break the mold.
